UC, Inc., SMMR, Appoints New Board Member and CEO
LONGWOOD, Fla., Feb. 21 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — UC, Inc., formerly known as Symmetry Technologies, Inc. (OTC: SMMR), (the “Company”), today announced that effective February 14, 2022, it has appointed David Reckles as its newest member of its Board of Directors, its Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) and Corporate Treasurer.
For the past three years, Mr. Reckles has been active in the private label hemp and CBD manufacturing industries. Previously, he spent over 20 years in corporate America as a chief technologist and technical director for companies such as American Airlines, AT Kearney, BP, Dell, Dow, EDS, Gap, Pfizer and United Airlines. He has also served HP/EDS as the Enterprise Architect and Chief Technologist for numerous customer and enterprise initiatives, with a particular focus on IT innovation, automation, configuration management and mobile technologies.
Donna Rayburn, who served as CEO and sole director of the Company, will assume the role of Chair of the Company’s Board of Directors, but will no longer be an officer of the Company.
Furthermore, the Company also announces that it has filed an application with the Financial Regulation Authority (“FINRA”) for an immediate name change and a change of trading symbol. Once approved, the Company will issue an announcement on the implementation date of the changes.
